1. Book vessel space with customer approved shipping liner (or) forwarder at least 15 days prior to PO/PI confirmed production completion/cargo ready date.
2. Receive booking confirmation from shipping liner/forwarder.
3. Pull in empty container for loading 05 (or) 03 days prior to booking confirmed ETD date. Number of days varies depending on country of origin. Closing date and cut off time will be advised by shipping liner/forwarder in their booking confirmation.
4. Truck out loaded container to loading port container yard 05 (or) 03 days prior to booking confirmed ETD date. Number of days varies depending on country of origin. Closing date and cut off time will be advised by shipping liner/forwarder in their booking confirmation.
5. Submit Shipping Instructions 05 (or) 03 days prior to booking confirmed ETD date. Number of days varies depending on country of origin. Closing date and cut off time will be advised by shipping liner/forwarder in their booking confirmation.
6. Forwarder Commercial Invoice & Packing List for origin export customs clearance.
7. Forwarder Commercial Invoice & Packing List for Shipping Liner/Forwarder to generate DRAFT Bill of Lading.
8. Receive DRAFT Bl from shipping liner/forwarder, check and confirm back for them to prepare Original Bill of Lading (OBL).
9. Forward copies of Commercial Invoice, Packing List and DRAFT BL (or) OBL to consignee (or) consignee appointed forwarder at least 03 days prior to actual ETD date in order to file Importers Security Filing (ISF) as destinations ports in USA. This is only applicable for shipments to USA.
10. Forward copies of finalized commercial Invoice, Packing List, OBL (or) Seaway Bill, Container Loading Chart, Container Loading Pictures, Plant and Plant Product Declaration Form (PPP) and Exporters Statement of Origin (ESO) to consignee (or) consignee appointed forwarder for them to pre-customs clear containers at the destination port.
11. Pick up container and transport to door delivery as soon as the container gets tag.
12. Return empty container to the discharge port (arrival port) within demurrage free time to avoid demurrage charges on daily basis.
